Victoria University Appoints Former NBS Journalist Julius Bukyana As Corporate And Public Affairs Manager

Uganda’s leading university Victoria University Kampala has appointed Former NBS news anchor and show host Julius Bukyana as the Corporate and Public Affairs Manager.

The University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lawrence Muganga who couldn’t wait to share the good news described Bukyana as a great resource.

”As a University, we are destined for greatness with such a resource, welcome to the ‘University of You’ Bukyana Julius. Ladies and Gentlemen Here is VUKampala Corporate and Public Affairs Manager,” Prof.Muganga confirmed in a tweet.

Bukyana who previously served as a news anchor at NBS also served as Guild President at Nkumba University.

He also served as a Political reporter, show host and producer at NBS, a company of Next Media Services.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Nkumba University. He is also pursuing a Master of International Relations and Diplomacy at the same University.

The journalist also contested in the just recent East African Legislative Assembly elections unsuccessfully. He lost to six NRM candidates one opposition member and two independents.

Bukyana is known for his improved touch and capacity to improve media relations of different companies within the Central region of Uganda.
