NRM Is Now Our Home! Over 70 NUP Supporters In Mityana Cross To NRM As ONC’s Hadijah Namyalo Endorses President Museveni For The Next Term

As Thousands of National Resistance Movement (NRM) supporters filled up Mayor’s gardens in Mityana district last Saturday to endorse President Museveni for the next term of office, over 70 supporters of the National Unity Platform who felt no sense of belonging crossed to the ruling NRM party.
The NUP supporters who felt the need to defect were warmly welcomed by the Office of the NRM Chairman (ONC) manager, SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye aka Chief Muzzukulu who was in the area to officially Launch ‘JajjaTovaKuMain2026.” campaign.
It’s worth noting that Mityana district is a known stronghold of the NUP party but the growing number of those endorsing President Yoweri Museveni for the next term in office also left Chief Muzzukulu and other ONC coordinators smiling ear to ear.
The NUP supporters who crossed to the NRM revealed that they had no hope after being disappointed with the unfulfilled promises by NUP therefore they had no reason to remain in the opposition and that they had seen the light
Speaking during the massive event, Hajjat Namyalo who is also the Senior Presidential Advisor on political affairs revealed that she was not only in the area to launch the grand endorsement campaign but also to physically listen to people’s challenges and have them addressed by her office.
In the same vein, Hajjat Namyalo called upon the people of Mityana and greater Mubende to take advantage of the government programs like Emyooga, Parish Development Model to improve their household incomes and liberate themselves from poverty.
Under her able leadership, the TovaKuMain2026 campaign gained momentum after being launched in October last year (2022) to champion the endorsement of President Museveni’s candidature for the 2026 general elections and beyond as the Head of State.
Hajjat Namyalo has already launched the TovaKuMain2026 in several districts including Mbale, Masaka, Bukomansimbi, Kalangala, and Jinja among others and now Mityana with others yet to come on her long list as she moves to converse support for her boss’s next term of office.
