Minister Alice Kaboyo Urges Mayuge Residents To Embrace PDM To Eradicate Poverty

State Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister for the Luweero Triangle and Rwenzori Region, Hon. Alice Karamuzi Kaboyo has on Saturday joined 3rd Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Without Portfolio Hon Lukia Isanga Nakadama, in Mayuge district to celebrate Women’s Day.

Nakadama is also the Woman Member of Parliament for Mayuge District.

At these celebrations, Minister Kaboyo encouraged the people of Mayuge to adhere to presidential pleas to embrace Parish Development Model (PDM) which transformed from Parish community association that was under her ministry.

PDMl is premised on the model that the Parish Development Committee (PDC) together with common citizens as the end user of social services are better placed to identify and respond to their own needs, priorities, and direct use of resources.

Hon. Alice thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for always supporting and drumming for the NRM party and mobilizing for its support in Mayuge and neighbouring districts.
