President Yoweri Museveni has appointed Maj Tom Magambo who has been in the Internal Security Organisations(ISO) as the new police Criminal Investigations Director.

“President Museveni has promoted Private Tom Magambo to the rank of Major and appointed him Director Criminal Investigations of the Uganda Police Force,” the acting UPDF spokesperson, Lt Col Ronald Kakurungu said in a statement.

The AU Committee ministerial meeting is happening this week from Wednesday, 19 January to Friday, 21 January 2022.

The African Union Committee of Ten Heads of State and Government (C-10) is a Committee set up by the African Union (AU) with a mandate to advocate and canvass the African Common Position on United Nations Security Council (UNSC) reform.


Members of the C-10 who are set to attend the prestigious event include the Heads of State and Government of Senegal, Uganda, Algeria, Kenya, Zambia, Sierra Leone, the Republic of Congo, Libya, Namibia, and Equatorial Guinea.
The meeting will be coordinated by the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.
