Just In: State House Anti-Corruption Unit Arrest Three Immigration Officers At Entebbe Airport For Misuse Of Office

Entebbe: The statehouse Anti-corruption unit together with the Police today conducted an operation at Entebbe airport following a whistleblower’s complaint that led to the arrest of 3 Immigration officers including Caroline Kabugo (shift Supervisor), Martha Mboneko & Julius Musalwa for allegedly misusing their offices.
The three allegedly abused their office when they caused a refugee to miss her flight purporting that she had forged clearance documents from the office of the prime minister to the contrary.
According to the unit, the traveler has since incurred extra costs in excess of $1800 Investigations and are being carried out.
