Former Capital FM Presenter Alex Ndawula Passes On At 59

Former Capital radio presenter Alex Nduwula has been announced dead at Nsambya Hospital at the age of 59 years.

 Ndawula, who ran the popular music shows ‘Dance Force’ and ‘Sundowner’ at Capital Fm Uganda
was announced dead at St Francis Nsambya Hospital on Monday evening.

Ndawula was born in the United States in New York City in 1963. 
When his father passed on, the Ndawulas relocated to Uganda.

He was eight years then and spent one year at St Mary’s College Kisubi before crossing to Nairobi and then to Namasagali for his High school and finally Nakawa Technical Institute from where he did Marketing.


Ndawula was among the pioneer FM radio presenters shortly after liberalization of the industry.

He started his career at Sanyu FM in 1993 together with the late Allan Mugisa popularly known as Allan
Ndawula later moved to Capital FM in 1994 until 2017 when he retired.
