Kampala: City businessman Hamis Kiggundu has unveiled a multi-billion Luxury residential facility dubbed Ham Palm Villas located within Akright City in Bwebajja along Entebbe Road so far the largest and one of its kind in Uganda.

Ham Palm Villas is privately owned and managed by Hamis Kiggundu under Ham Palm Villas Ltd a Subsidiary of Ham Group Of Companies, a Ugandan conglomerate and leading property development company in Uganda.

Seated on 200-acres of land, Ham Palm Villas has got leisure facilities including a Club House, Swimming pools, Gym, Sauna and Steambath, Saloons and Barbershops, Healthcare facilities like Clinic and Pharmacy, Supermarket, a Fully Fledged Sports Complex with 2 Basketball Courts, 2 Tennis courts, 2 Volleyball courts, Netball court, Football pitch.

On top of the above, the multi-billion facility also has fast-running internet fiber, a well-organized 2-way road network with a solar lighting system, and an international school, With a central modern up-to-date security system.

According to Hamis Kiggundu, this multibillion project is meant to add value and class to standards of living and introduce something new to the market.

“I am trying to introduce something that is new to the market by offering modern, contemporary houses that will add value and class to our way of living which has not been the case in Uganda before, as such has already been done in European countries like the UK where I have already invested”, Ham said.

 “I am making these investments at a gradual and controlled pace, yet in the long run, I envisage huge returns on the investment. I can easily sell them gradually once I need financing. The project is like a bank; it secures capital for future investment while providing service to my community or society at the same time,” Ham added.

Ham is a well-known businessman who not only trades in Uganda as Ham Enterprises Ltd but also as Ham International UK Ltd in the UK, Ham International Ltd in the US, and Skylight Investments in South Africa

The young billionaire who directly employs more than 3000 people, had his primary, secondary, and university education in Uganda and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Makerere University. The self-made billionaire Ham kiggundu is said to have started off by selling dresses with the money loaned to him by his father and that marked the beginning of his struggle and financial breakthrough into the billionaire that you see today.

Having established the first and still the only one of its kind in the country the Ham Palm Villas, the youthful tycoon came to the limelight as the man behind dazzling commercial buildings around Kampala, including a popular multi-billion real estate Ham Enterprises which includes commercial buildings such as Ham Shopping Centre, Ham towers Makerere, Hana International school Nsangi.

Ham is currently renovating Nakivubo Memorial stadium and he has turned it into a state of the art with world-class facilities and it is yet to be unveiled soon after completion among other commercial buildings in Kampala.

Hamis Kiggundu also owns the Hamz platform which operates a number of subsidiaries through different web and mobile-based platforms ranging from; Education, Communication, Online Shopping, Online Payment, Video hosting, and Entertainment sectors and he recently launched an online learning platform named, Hamz Campus to enable students to access online studies.
