Breaking! Renown City Blogger Isma Ollaxes aka Jajja Ichuli Shot Dead

The latest news landing on our news desk indicates that popular Ugandan top blogger, Tusubilwa Ibrahim aka Jajja Ichuli has been shot dead.

The sad incident has been confirmed by Deputy Police Spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan Luke Owoyesigyire an unidentified gunman armed with an SMG opened fire on Iculi’s vehicle before shooting him dead.

”The Territorial Police at Kira Road is actively investigating a tragic shooting incident that occurred today at approximately 9:20 PM in Kyanja Central Zone. It is with deep regret that we report the unfortunate demise of Tusubilwa Ibrahim, also known as Isma Olaxes, popularly known as Jaja Ichuli. The incident took place while Mr. Tusubilwa Ibrahim was travelling in his motor vehicle, registered under number UBK 213 D, with his driver, Mr. Waswa Mathias” Owoyesigyire said in a statement.

”Preliminary reports indicate that an unidentified gunman armed with an SMG opened fire on the vehicle, resulting in the fatal shooting of Tusubilwa Ibrahim, who was seated in the passenger seat at the time of the attack. Our dedicated task teams are currently on the ground, working diligently to gather all available evidence and conduct thorough investigations into this heinous crime” he added.

Owoyesigyire further said that the area has been cordoned off to ensure the safety of the public and to facilitate the ongoing investigation process.

”We assure the public that every effort is being made to bring the perpetrators to justice and provide answers to this senseless act of violence” he noted.

According to sources, Isma was shot dead by unknown gunmen today evening, Saturday, May 6, 2023, as he was entering his home gate in Kyanja.

The motive for his killing is not yet known.

Most recently, Isma Olaxes produced a video where he was celebrating the death of Minister Charles Okello Engola, accusing him of failure to look after his workers including his shooter and bodyguard, Private Wilson Sabiiti.

Iculi castigated Engola for causing the arrest of Ugandan Citizens and claimed the UPDF personnel captured battering Ugandans on video were from West Africa.
